사진작가 공지수의 『Till we have faces』에는 음악가, 사진가, 이발사 등 여러 인물들이 등장합니다. 사회와 공동체 내에서 우리가 짓게 되는 표정은 상황과 맥락에 따라 셀 수 없이 많습니다. 작가는 그중에서도 흔히 얼굴을 통해 드러나는 표정이 아닌라 뒷모습에 담긴, 온몸으로 내비치는 표정에 주목합니다. 무언가에 깊이 몰입하거나 의식하지 않고 있을 때 비로소 몸 곳곳으로 퍼지는 이러한 표정을 통해 한 사람의 진심어린 순간을 포착합니다.

Photographer Kong Ji-su's 『Till We Have Faces』 features various people, including musicians, photographers, and barbers. The expressions we make in society and communities are countless, depending on the situation and context. Among them, the artist focuses on the expressions expressed through the whole body, not the expressions usually revealed through the face, but rather the expressions contained in the back. Through these expressions that spread throughout the body only when someone is deeply absorbed in something or is unconscious, he captures a person's sincere moments.
